dalya moumina studio work painting new york

Inspired by the terrains of her home countries of the Saudi Arabia, Dalya Moumina’s landscapes invite viewers into a world that seems surreal, ancient and mysterious. Winding hills and meandering valleys suggest lands shaped by centuries of human passage, often leading to a light source evoking giant suns or open portals into another realm. Her succinct use of light and colour encapsulate an otherworldliness forging a singular vision of the nuances in our ever-changing landscape.
